Cruise the 1000 Islands on your own, or enjoy a tour boat cruise of the area and learn the fascinating history of the homes and people who live (and have lived) in the "Land of the 1000 Islands." Visit Boldt Castle in Alexandria Bay, or the Clayton Antique Boat Museum in nearby Clayton, NY.
Visiting the Area for a Few Days?
If you can take a few days, why not consider renting a car and enjoying the beauties that Central New York has to offer?
Within 30 minutes to two hours travel time, you can visit the Erie Canal Museum, the Carrier Dome, Turning Stone Casino Resort (with it's world class golf courses), Corning Glass Works, Watkins Glen International Speedway, the Finger Lakes and NYS wineries or the 1000 Islands in the St. Lawrence. Take your time. There is plenty to see.
